  Glass bas-relief.
  Georges Odartchenko, a poet, writer and painter of Ukrainian origin, was born in Moscow in 1903. As his family owned land in the Sumy region of Ukraine, he would travel there from Moscow every summer. Georges Odartchenko emigrated to France after the 1917 revolution and settled in Paris, where he soon set up a workshop specialising in painting on fabric. He died in Paris in 1960.
